Ashley Tucker is the Global Policy Programs Associate at Instagram. In her role, she builds programs and partnerships to ensure Instagram is a safe and supportive community for all voices – especially communities of color. From campaigns that celebrate Heritage and Identity, to collaborating with creative collectives to educate users on the vast range of tools on IG, Ashley works to uplift the vibrancy and diversity of Instagram’s community and keep people safe. Before joining the Instagram family, Ashley worked at UBS Investment Bank in London and New York. Her role was to ensure that institutional investors had access to corporate management in meaningful ways. Ashley is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and St. Mary’s University (Twickenham, London). Outside of work, she can often be found dancing to anything with a beat, debating the root of some human behavior and strengthening relationships with friends and family.
